OUR POLICIES


Booking

All reservations are made online through www.thenightingalemotel.com or a booking engine (kayak, booking.com, etc).
Each room has a keycode, so there is no office or formal check in procedure at your arrival. We live on site and have a cell phone that you can reach us at if you have any needs during your stay. Please keep in mind we are a family operation, so we will do our best to respond in a timely manner.
Our Queen and King Rooms are based on double occupancy only. Our King rooms cannot sleep three adults. Double Queen rooms and Double Full Rooms can sleep 4 adults, and the 2 suites have the option of adding a child or two to the sofa sleeper for a fee of 25/night.

Cancellation
Rooms cancelled more than 3 days before your arrival will be given a full refund.
Rooms canceled less than 72 hours before a reservation are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the first night’s stay.

Check-In
Check in is any time after 4pm. You will be sent you door key-code at check in time as there is no in-person check in procedure.
Check in is 4:00pm and check out is 11:00am. Our doors are automated, so please be aware that the codes will only work within the hours that you are meant to be our guest. If you find that you cannot be out of your room by 11:00am, please contact us to change your automated lock (as it will lock you out) and you will be charged a fee, since we start cleaning at 11:00am to get ready for the next guests.
We can be reached by phone at (970) 507-0121 between 8:00am-9:00pm if you have an issue. If you have an emergency after that time feel free to call, but understand that we may be slower to respond as we do not staff 24 hours a day. We are a family operation 😉
If you want to check in early, we will try to accommodate you, but it depends on when other guests check out. We suggest making a note of this on your reservation and we will release the keycode as soon as the room is ready and notify you.

Room Cleaning
For guests staying 2 nights or less there is no daily cleaning service, but we are happy to refresh towels and take out your trash if you put the wooden hanger outside your room. If you need your linens changed please put the placard on your bed that indicates you would like your linens changed.
Room Charges & Damages

When you book online with us, our system keeps your card on file to cover any room charges and damage. Damage to furniture, linens and other property will be assessed and then billed to the customer at our replacement cost, which may include labor costs. Keep in mind that excessively soiled linens, carpets and furniture will be included as damages.

Pets

We do not allow any pets at this time.

Property Rules & Parking

No smoking of any kind inside any of the rooms. If you would like to smoke, please step outside your room and be mindful of other guests.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. This is an old motel and walls can be thin, please be mindful of your tv and speaking volume as a courtesy to your neighbors. If we have to repeatedly ask you to quiet down, we will then ask you to leave the property and no refund will be given.
Please only park in your designated spot for your room. There is street parking out front if you have additional vehicles.
We unfortunately do not have parking for trailers as our spots only accommodate one car. If you have a trailer with you it will need to be parked on the street or somewhere else. During the winter, there are restrictions to overnight street parking when it is snowing, so the snow plows can plow throughout the night.
